Best fans in the Premier League?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Unofficial Newcastle United Football Club BBS : One Thread

This from the Official Site. Best behaved I presume due to the lack of noise?

Newcastle United are also delighted to announce that their supporters have won the FA Premier League's 'Behaviour of the Public' Fair Play League. As it suggests this league is run by the FA Premier League to determine how each of the teams' home crowd behaves on matchdays and is marked by an official Match Observer. United fans finished top of the league with 326 points out of 380 - an average of 8.58 per home game. Ipswich Town and Charlton Athletic were in joint second place with 321 points.

This award carries a prize of £20,000 which the Club, in addition to extending their congratulations, have confirmed will be used for the benefit of the supporters in recognition of their magnificent support.

It's now official - Newcastle United's fans are the best !!!

Suggestions for the £20,000 ?

Maybe we could use it to pay Marcelino for a week. It woudl stop the fans feeling bad about their money going to him.

This has to be good news towards our UEFA Cup qualification backdoor entry. With well, behaved fans, we'll be very welcome in Europe. As for the £20k, put it towards the fines for drunken behaviour at the first away match.
