I have to believe that by opening day Bennett will be #1. (Isn't that what's "expected" from a first round draft pick in that position?)

Normally you would be right, Clark. But Dennis Green has a long history of not starting rookies. Randy Moss was our third option for the first half of his rookie season, Hovan didn't break the lineup for several games. Our last running back drafted in the first round, Robert Smith took several years to crack the lineup, albeit he had some injury issues.

Besides I think Moe Williams is a hell of a back, if it were not for injuries we would have seen a lot more of him the past couple of years in spite of the Viper.

I would agree with most of that and i would also agree that Williams and Chapman will get every oppurtunity to play ahead of Bennett. If Bennett was atop 5 pick it would be different. GO VIKES!!!!

My biggest concern so far is the MLB position. We have 1 who played the position last year and who to me is still suspect of getting it right, and another one who basically played Special Teams for GB last year and filled in as MLB very sparingly.

Sauer and McDaniel can also play the middle if we get in a pinch. Supposedly Nelson is supposed to be a comer. I think the really scary thing is that they are being coached by Worst. Worst needs to be fired, loyalty is one thing but I don't think there is anyone out there who would claim Denny is disloyal for canning him.

At this point in time, he definitely needs fired. Denny's butt also needs to be on the auction block for putting up with his crap for this long.
