Rumours on nufc.com that spectators won't be allowed at the new Woolsington facilities. :-(

Well, looking at what has been hinted on here with regard to training ground unrest maybe it is best in this day and age that the fans don't know the full story.

So maybe that's the reason why they are moving there. Can they have a greater level of privacy at the new ground?

Just wait until they invent one of those new fangled indoor facilities and then you won't stand a hope of seeing what's not going on.

Would even up the chances for those who try and compete fairly in the team prediction competition

Surely they could follow every other new fangled development and install glass walls or even glass block walls to the indoor facility.

Should the new building be lop sided to match the team and the stadium? Perhaps the building could have a training pitch on the ground floor and then offices on the first floor in an 'L' shape to give that lop sided feeling?

Oi..some of us did pretty well in the team pick without weekly training ground visits. :-)

It does make a lot of sense for them to have more private facilities. Fewer distractions, also fewer leaks. I was surprised at how open things were at CLS.

I assume the Chronicle won't be able to have the amount of exposure to players they have enjoyed recently.

Have we therefore seen the last of Barton, Speed, Lee, Shearer etc proclaiming how they must do better for the fans. If necessary I'd be happy for the players to be shipped in in armoured vans, at least Dyer wouldn't have any further road accidents.

Nobby live near there, doesn't he? Ideal for him if it's walking distance. ;-))

Is that why Nobby always sweats so much, he's sweating off a heavy night on the pop?

It's a logical measure to prevent certain BBS ladies putting off the squad by badgering them for photos and autographs

and things

Whilst I've always enjoyed seeing a training session, I did find it slightly disquieting that we were allowed to watch at all. If we are allowed to watch then obviously so is an opposing coach. I would rather hope that they spent some time working out special plays in dead ball situations and the like, and obviously such things would have to be kept under wraps.

Now if the story is true it might well be we can no longer see them actually train, but surely there'll be nothing to stop Steph from standing at the entrance with camera in hand. The players won't feel at home otherwise.
