Hubby remembers making french van. icrecream that used real cream, but we do not have the recipe. Does anyone have one??

Go to www.google.com , use the search phrase "full-cream vanilla icecream recipe", look at the results, if you don't get what you want then repeat without their "Reader's Digest" condensed version of reults.

We like this recipe: 5 eggs (slightly beaten)1 Tbls vanilla 3 cups sugar(more or less) 2 pints cream 3 pints milk Several young children Mix together first five ingredients and pour into icecream maker. Give the icecream maker to the children to crank and sit back to enjoy the fun.- This does make a rich vanilla icecream. (Be aware of the warnings about using raw eggs. We use our homegrown and have not had a problem, but we no longer use this recipe for public demonstrations.)
