My CD-ROM used to work well with VCD. But after installing some programs such as Premiere and VideoStudio. VCD cannot be played (DVD is still OK). There always an error message "format not support" when using PowerDVD, Windows Media Player and Quicktime Player. Any idea of where the problem comes from?? Thx in advance.

The answer is simple, you have so many playback features on your computer that it doesn't know what one to use when trying to play a vcd. You need to get rid of, then reinstall them one by one, each time checking to see what program the vcd will play on.
