UNEX - Good UFO footage?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Current News : One Thread

This takes a bit to load, and the commentary is in spanish, but looks disturbing... the only question I have is the contrail after it banks in front of the camera, as well as the noise...

It is interesting, if it's not a hoax...

Carl: The link won't open... typo?

-- Anonymous, May 27, 2001

The link I made works, but if you tried to type the link description in, it wouldn't. I left off the redirect info in the link description, but it seems it's needed if you try to acess that way...

Try again, it's pretty amazing stuff, if it's not faked...

Carl, sure wish I could see that video. I can't get it to play. It comes through on Windows Media Player and just won't fully load for me. Darn it.

Carl, I have tried to see this, and can't get it to load, either.....

Humm, must be too much traffic, it's almost a 6MB file. I saved a copy to my hard drive, and am in the process of uploading it to my tripod site. Their file upload utility couldn't handle it, timed out, so I'm using my ftp software to upload it...

As soon as I have it there, I'll post a link... uploading a file this size via modem is slowwww...

Well, tripod chokes when I try to upload there, and I don't have enough room on my geocities site.

If your getting an error message when you try and access, let me know exactly what it says... you may not have the latest codecs...

Another thing to try is to right click on the link I posted, then selcet save target, which will let you save it to your hard drive. Then open Windows Media Player, and view it that way.

Wonder why this one didn't make the 6pm newscast? Interesting. I do find it funny that someone just happened to have a camcorder pointed at the building at just the right time. Anything is possible I guess.

Good, sheeple, you were able to view it ok...

The bottom information that scrolls as the movie is playing says this was filmed over NYC... I'm assuming that's New York City...

Well, I finally downloaded the latest Windoze Media Player, and was able to view this...

It appears to have been filmed on 24 July, 2000.

If it ain't faked, I don't know what to say. Other than inertia ain't what it used to be. There is an article in Popular Science about "pinging" inertia, that rang a bell after viewing this.

It would seem that physics as we know it can be "altered". I can't tell if this is "faked", any more than I can say that the world as we perceive it is "faked". Have I made myself "clear"? LOL

Thanks Carl... saved a copy for later viewing. I am speechless for the moment.

As I said, pretty amazing stuff if it's real, almost scary actually...

For those who haven't been able to download it yet, you see about half of what appears to be a saucer shapped craft sticking out from behind a tall building, hovering... then it darts out to a spot what appears to be maybe a mile or so out over the city, hovers again for a second, then darts back towards the building it is being video taped from, a tremendous speed, to bank at the last second and turn almost straight upwards, leaving some sort of contrail as it does... The whooshing sound as it banks past them, as well as the womans gasp as it passes by them is eerie....

Like Gr8, you may have to update your media player in order to view it...

If it's fake, it's a pretty good one, if not... wow...
