M6 with Script engraving

I might be a little late with the news but, I've just learn that Leica has introduce an M6 standard version with the top plate engraving.

If we're talking about the version that's available in Japan only, then you can find more information about it at www.cameraquest.com/classics.htm This version doesn't really have an engraved top plate but only painted on script. Huge difference if you ask me. If there is a newer version with real engraving please let me know. Thanx.

It has the word "Leica" engrave but the rest of the inscriptions are indeed paint. On the Camera Quest website, they describe the body has a "Standard" model. I dont see why they would charge extra or even bother to offer it has an option (If it would become available in the US).
