1. Open camera back. 2. Place your finger on the dial of the exposure counter while turning it counterclockwise until it indicated 1 or more. 3. Keep your finger in place while closeing the camera back. 4. Turn the rapid wind lever and the shutter will be cocked.

Roberto: Follow Steve's instructions and it will work. You can cock the shutter using his technique, then open the back and fire the shutter with the back open. You must then repeat Steve's procedure again. Alternately you can cock and fire the shutter as many times as you like without opening the back, and the film counter does NOT increment without film in the camera. There is a similar exposure for double exposures if you are interested. It does not provide accurate re-alignment of the frame.

There is a special key that came with the camera that allows you to fire the shutter with the back open. It is shown in the instruction book. Where one gets one for a used camera is another matter.

For a key try The Camera People in Colorado at 1-800-382-2644 or (970) 884-6045. A while back they had some listed in their catalog for $5.00. Ask for Terry. Bob
