After trying, and failing, to buy tickets for the England game tonight when they went on sale I entered a competition on RAM FM's web site (local Derby radio station) yesterday in which you had to spot how many times Sven appeared on their web site.

To my surprise while driving to work this morning they announced the winner live on the radio............and it was me! I nearly crashed the bloody car, I've never won much before you see.

Two top whack tickets in the main stand on the half way line. I'd have never got tickets this good if I'd have got throught to buy them.......how chuffed am I ?

Nice one! My girlfriend's brother and his mate are going tonight. They stayed at our place last night on the way up and I took them out in Northampton and ended up in the Soviet Bar, downing Kola Cube tasting vodka.

That's great wonkey mate! Many congrats, I do share the pessimissim about radio competitions. Every morning at 615am there is a competition on one of the radio stations and I would say 3 times out of five I get the right answer, but the trick is you have to be the seventh caller. I have never ever even gotten through, not once. I am begining to think they have blocked calls from my number. They give away some great stuff too, this week it was two free tickets chicago to manchester on united, although why I'd want to go to manchester who knows??

I got it right again this morning, and I still didn't get through.

Our local commercial station, Northants 96, runs competitions every day and I'm sure they're intended for the numbnuts of the town. Only trouble is that you can't listen to the slappy bint on the Breakfast show for long enough to get to the end of the question.

She is a bliddy nightmare and is constantly talking about her huge great fat arse and how she has a massive credit card bill etc blah, blah, normal dumb bird crap!!

Had a bit of spawn mesel. William Hill have sold their Spread betting arm to IG index, with all old WH customers getting a free £100 bet as an introductory offer to IG. There were a limited number of events to bet on, I went for Liverpool v Alaves and bought total goals! For those who understand spreads, this is the only time I have (or will ever, I'm sure) be the victim of a spread company's stop-win policy! Long and short: I've won 500 sheets for no outlay. The Milky Bars are on me!
