how do you create a coarse textured bread

I have had a Breadman machine for about 3 years (two actually).

The bread it turns out is so good we have probably bought no more than 2 or 3 loaves since we started using the machine.

But I would like to know how to turn out a coarser textured loaf.

I like bread with large holes in it or a mix of large and small holes. My bread is all relatively fine textured. The closest I come is with my oven baked french bread but even that is far from coarse textured.
