I was under the impression that you were going to sign rivaldo and company! Is this just more bollox? Btw before you all start to support man city 'cos keegoon is there, they already have alot of real supporters so think again. As you are after our rejects(bridges) would you like to buy dichio? You could make him a blue chip player!!!!!!!!!!!!!*

* blue chip player- bullshit dreamt up by a pissy pensioner who has lost the plot.

Dichio was a damn sight more consistent than Bridges and less prone to piques of temper.

ML3 - perhaps Bridges' heart just wasn't in it.

Dichio - consistent?

To be fair he's probably better than Gerald Sibon though! £3 million? Go on monkey heed spend yer dividend on dross like that, must have thought it was a good idea whilst having a pint with his new drinking partner/first team coach Bryan Robson.

ML3,

It seems there is a good probability of Bridges coming to SJP.
I've only seen him live once - playing for Leeds Reserves against our lot, where he oozed class. I'd really appreciate your objective assessment of him - his strengths and weaknesses.

And also any info on this Rivaldo guy. Which position does he play, how did he fit into the Peter Reid total football scenario?

-- Anonymous, May 25, 2001

Hahaha can you picture Rivaldo playing for the cloggers....now that WOULD be funny.....

-- Anonymous, May 25, 2001

He's got the right characteristics for them, bandy legged knuckle dragger!

Ernie Rivaldo from Gillingham? too old and a bit chesty off the coal dust.

Dross pretty much sums up Sibon as a player DB, I saw him last season when we played Sheff Wed at their place....so go on sign him up Peytar! I 've heard mates of mine, SOL ST holders coming out with all this crap about signing the likes of Fowler, think it's about time they fucking woke up, that includes you as well soopakev.

Somebody at Sunlung doesn't have the confidence to spend big, either Murray or Monkey Heed seem scared to reduce their dividend in the event of a flop.

To be fair to Heed, he has bought well but the fact that they have now failed to get into Europe twice in a row after promising more, suggests that they need to add a greater degree of quality and that doesn't come cheap.

I can't see them spending more than £6-7 million on one player this season, what with building on the new academy soon to start as well.

"what with building on the new academy soon to start as well."

Isn't that usually called a zoo? Cheetah, ongawa! :-)

The planners have apparently turned down their development after looking at detailed design drawings!!

In my experience they will be hard pushed to find a solution to this in this current year. Once Sunderland have a solution it takes months for those bloody planners to make their minds up, bless them!!

superkev you say Bridges is your reject, but loads of Mackems wished they still had him when your namesake was going through his annual bad patch.
