Good David Alan Harvey Article

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Leica Photography : One Thread

I just ran across this excellent article on David Alan Harvey. I don't think I've ever seen anyone post it to this forum before, so here 'tis:

Being, as it is, from National Geographic Traveler, this article is definitely written for an amateur audience. That said, I did learn a number of things (including that Harvey's film of choice is Provia 100).

Thanks for the lead-I enjoyed the article. His shooting philosphy brings us back again to the "less is better" concept that is certainly relevant. A good reminder.

Thank you Buzz! That was a very enjoyable and informative interview/article.

If I may humbly add the following well known link, previously referenced in this discussion group..

Back up a couple of levels, and you will see a photo feature by our very own Robert Appleby as well !

Thanks buzz for the URL. It is always fun to see someone who thinks like you, One camera, One lens, One film and light is everything.
