ES-E1 EOS Link Software for EOS 1V Body

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Canon EOS FAQ forum : One Thread

According to the Canon brochure for the EOS 1V, the camera body is capable of saving shooting data (maximum of 26 items).

Is a list of these items available or are some of these custom?

Does anyone know what is the memory size for the storage data? The literature mentions 50-200 rolls of film with 36 exposures (100 on the standard setting). I imagine the range is due to the selection of the data being saved (up to 26 items). If less are chosen, more film data can be stored. Is this correct?

I'd like to hear from anyone who has used the software for PC downloads. Seems like a huge benefit for those of us wanting to keep track of how and what we're doing to obtain that really awesome photo at last weekend's race.

Thanks!

Answers

Well I didn't get any responses on this question so I thought I'd try it out myself.

I loaded the software today and really love the features of the SW. Feel free to e-mail me if you want to find out more.
