If sex is so free, why do so many pay for it? You'd think easy sex would put the ho's out of business but it almost seems to be the other way around. Betcha prostitution (male and female) is a big factor in the spread of STDs.

Lars, licensed prostitutes in Nevada have an extremely low rate of transmission for every type of STD. NPR interviewed a doctor who lived in the brothels and observed the techniques the prostitutes used to minimize their exposure to disease. She wrote a book about it, or maybe it was a report for a medical journal. It was interesting.

Saw on the news this morning where 1 in 5 sexually active adults 18 to 45 yrs old have genital herpes. Sounds awfully high to me.

Might be a good idea for all you single folks to keep a sock on that monkey.......

I dont think it is just singles that are getting STD's. Lets not forget the cheaters. As for the young, they are convinced they are immortal and I dont see that ever changing. Al, Aids is not just on the rise again, as you state, in the gay community, but it is on the rise everywhere. Tell me also Al, you are not a fundie who thinks God dished out the disease for fags are you?
