What things considered "chores" do you actually enjoy doing?

I actually like ironing. Especially since I set up the board in our basement and crank the stereo I've got down there! :-)

Loading the dishwasher. I have this game I play to see how efficiently I can load it and how much stuff I can get in. It is very fulfilling when I can get everything in and it will all be thoroughly washed.

A chore I despise-folding clothes.

I don't really "enjoy" ironing per se, but I don't mind it at all. Sometimes I like to scrub the bathtub. I don't mind making my bed. That's about it.

I can't say I enjoy any chores, but there are some I hate, like scrubbing the tub and toilet. However, I do like my place to look clean so I tidy, dust, vaccuum, sweep, mop, and scrub about once a week. I don't mind doing the dishes. Some people hate it. I'd rather do that than scrub the tub or toilet. And I wash dishes almost everyday. It was my mom, man. And my sister, I'm traumatized for life. And I don't really like to iron either, but I don't like to be wrinkled. It's a mental illness, I tell you.

I don't mind ironing. Probably that's because I don't have to do that much of it - if everything I owned had to be ironed, I would probably resent it. But I like the way things get all crisp-looking, especially table linens.

Washing dishes is ok. Since I got my new vacuum cleaner, I don't mind doing that any more. I like making the bed, because it makes such a difference in how the room looks.

I *hate* cleaning the bathroom.

I kind of enjoy taking the trash out. It's a Wednesday night ritual. I feel more clean and organized when it's accomplished. Very weird, I know.

I enjoy picking up stuff-just getting rid of clutter. And I enjoy running the dust broom over all the floors, but I hate having to get the dust into the dustpan with the little hand broom.

the only thing I like about cleaning...when I can finally get off my ass and do it, is organising all the crap I have let collect around the house...but once I have it organized and put away, gof forbid I would actually vacuum the floor or dust the tables that I just cleared off.

I love to go to the grocery store, I love to cook. I love to run errands and tick things off my list of things to do.

I hate ironing and only recently have I started buying clothes that absoultely need to be ironed...if it's a little wrinkled..who cares. But you have to understand that I was scarred for life as a 13 year old transplant from Massachusets in Texas. Imagine me in front of the TV in the middle of summer. Ironing board and the wickerbasket full of my dads work shirts and the pillowcases that my mom insisted on ironing. Add to that my moms iron hand on the air conditioning (it came on for a few hours a day in the month of August, usually around 6pm when my dad came home) and a heatwave that still holds in the record books.

I like cleaning windows & polishing silver. Sex is a pretty fun chore, too. *smirk*

I put it off until the absolute last minute, but some part of my brain enjoys bill-paying. I think because then I know how much money is in the account -- something I worry about, but won't check up on thoroughly, the rest of the month -- and I feel very organized when I'm done.

I also don't mind cleaning the cat's water bowls. It makes me feel like a good pet parent.

I like folding towels - I find it relaxing for some reason. Other than that, the only thing I like about chores are the end result - I hate housework, or, really, work of any kind.
