WHam have turned down a 12mil bid for Frank Lampard. They think they can get more.

Admittedly I haven't seen Lampard all that much this season, but is he really worth anywhere near that much??

If so, what does that say for our chances of getting anyone remotely worthwhile.

Lampard is a busy player, but away from the cradle of West Ham i would say he'll struggle.

The club that pays 12mil plus should hang their heads in shame... inflating prices will ruin the game

Carrick is the one we should go for, not Lampard.

Those Carling OPTA stats had Carrick as the third best tackler in the league - that's number of chllenges and success rate.

Lampard has always come across as lazy. Yes he scores some cracking goals, but he doesn't do the donkey work in midfield that any team struggles without.

£12m is an absolute rip off. Stay well away Bobby. Please.

Can't see us paying £12mm for anyone - not even Rivaldo! - let alone £24mm.
The report I heard said WHU had turned two bids in excess of £10mm for FL, so that clearly marks his market value - and our problem.
