Pendelton corn maze opens soon. Will OK host another corn maze O' event?

According to today's Journal-World:

Just down the road, Karen and John Pendleton plan to open in June a 10-acre corn maze in the shape of a prehistoric fish. For the third year in a row Lawrence crop artist Stan Herd has designed the Pendleton maze, located at 1446 E. 1850 Road.

Last year, Fritz organized a low-key orienteering event in the Pendelton's maze (a butterfly last year). Will Fritz do it again?

Sanna and I stopped by yesterday to watch the maze being created. They will have an ovservation tower, and a bridge in the middle of the maze. It opens June 23rd. They asked if we were planning an event again, and asked us to get in touch. Fritz, I have her e-mail address if you need it.

An observation tower would be great if we want to cover this thing live on the internet. We could put a person on top with a cell phone or walkie talkie, and binoculars, then have a laptop or computer connection at the finish line. If we did this, I think it would be the first QQ with live internet coverage!
