I explained about all the tributes on here, from all over the world, and how I'd print them off and send them to her. She seemed pleased. I think it helped explain what an earth Ken was doing when he was on his PC !

I've spoken to Interflora about the ability to have black and white flowers, without much confidence. They reckon they may be able to dye some black, or failing that have black and white ribbons, or black and white in the background somehow. I've not pushed on price yet because of there lack of confidence about it working.

I know this may not be right, but Ken would have smiled ..... I've put this posting in the 'transfer rumours' category.

I have tried to leave things as much as possible as they were posted but I have sanitised bits and added bits in to emphasise that they are,for example, from 12000 miles away. This is the content not the layout, the layout of course be immaculate :0)

I'd really like to go to the service, and Friday 1st is about the best chance I will have next week as I go to Brussels for a week this Sunday. But maybe, just maybe, I can get back to H'row in time.

I really appreciate all the effort you're making MacB and I like Ciara's suggestion. That has to be more do-able than black flowers. Perhaps it would have been a bit easier if Ken had been a Mackem - but then he never struck me as being one for the easy option!
