Droop[y has said this in the press a few times now and it's getting a bit tiresome now. He should know better than to undermine a football club in this way.

He'd better stop all this before someone takes over at West Ham because he'll get told then.

Harry Redknapp always irritated me, i don't think he's the diamond geezer some would have us believe. This proves it really.

Teamtalk are reporting that WHU are to sell FL Jnr. to the highest bidder, and that the Toon are seriously interested.

They say:
Frank Lampard is set to be sold to the highest bidder this week with Newcastle becoming the latest club reportedly interested in him.
Newcastle boss Bobby Robson has been given a large transfer kitty and is reportedly targeting some of England's top talent including Liverpool's Robbie Fowler, Spurs' Sol Campbell and West Ham's want- away star Lampard.
It would appear that Fowler is now going nowhere following the recent spate of speculation regarding his future at Anfield, whilst Sol Campbell seems most likely to end up somewhere on the Continent after today officially rejecting Spurs' new contract offer.
That leaves Lampard as Robson's top target, and he has been told by Newcastle Officials that he has the spending power to match the highest payers in the Premiership.
Recently Upton Park board members placed a £13million price tag on Lampard's head with several of the interested parties suggesting they were not prepared to go that high. As well as Newcastle, the other clubs known to be in the picture include Leeds, Villa, Spurs and Chelsea.
Leeds would seem to be his preferred destination but David O'Leary will go no higher than a £10million bid for his services whilst The Hammers are hoping a transfer auction for the player will push his price tag higher than that.

Nah, don't want Lampard. He can't tackle to save his life and is soft as clarts. I could imagine the crowd getting a little bit angry with with him when he pulls out of 50-50's like he does at West Ham. Carrick, yes, but Lampard no. He does score a few goals, but you need more than that in a midfielder.
