having just awoken from the tedium of last season i have been amused and invigorated by the voracious rantings of superkev.

i must admit he is very convincing, and i for one considered switching my fickle allegiance to safc until i considered the following:

in my lifetime safc have spent each season being promoted or relegated between each of the top 3 (three) divisions. this year & last represents a golden age they've enjoyed upper mid table security in the top division. well done lads.

however, this season, they had a chance to win the worthless cup (bottled it) the fa cup (totally bottled it) and grab a euro place (bottled that too). add to this the fact that the football's almost unwatchable (tickets children they're all freee todaay), so perhaps i'll continue to follow the toon.... at least until somebody else can convince me that their teams better than mine.
