There is a headline on the IC Newc site which basically says Gallacher has gone, with tremendous thanks from Robson for his work.

Kevin will always be held in high regard by me as he gave his all when he had the opportunity. I am sure he will get a tremendous reception should he return to St James.

Damn. Not that this should be any surprise. I just kept hoping he might stay on in a squad role simply because he is such a shining example of the kind of attitude and hard work we need at the club. Still feel sad now that it's confirmed he's gone.

Best wishes to the guy, wherever he does and whatever he does next. As long as he doesn't come back to knock us out of any cup competitions with his winning goal! ;-)

Jay, he has not gone to anybody as yet as far as I know. His contract is now ended and he is a free agent and can join whoever will make him an offer.
