I have registered to participate in the 2005 Ward Evans Atlantic Rowing Challenge - a 2900 nautical mile row/race from Tenerife, Canary Islands to Barbados. Just an update. The 2 person team race scheduled for 2005 has been changed to October 2003. The Ward Evans Group had announced a new 4 person team race (from Boston to England) originally scheduled for 2003. This race has been rescheduled for 2005 due to delays in the new boat design.

FYI - The 2001 Atlantic Rowing Challenge starts this Sunday! Go USA!

You are correct the Atlantic Rowing Challenge next edition will now take place in 2003 rather than 2005.

It's unlikely to be sponsored by Ward Evans though.
