I noticed this on the Greenspun Home Page when I was trying to access the bbs via that route last night. In view of various queries on other threads I thought you might like to read it:

17 May 2001 - after most of a day of being out of commission, the greenspun.com free services have moved to a much better connected and more stable home. We anticipate that the recent outages should be a thing of the past, and appreciate your indulgence during this difficult time.
