Golf is a game for old men, is it? So how comes Nick Faldo uses more energy during a typical round than David Beckham does during a game of football? It's just clicked why I'm still a fat bastard , after playing 3 rounds of golf a week. I'm not humping my my own bag after a round.

Surely humping your bag at a golf course would get you barred? And calling her a bag? Well, really!

So you should probably spend less time bouncing yer balls off the clubhouse windows. ;-)

Oh, so your suposst to hump your old bag during a round. Wouldn't that hold up play?

Yes, but it would burn off a few calories!

What are you like , try to slip a bit of decorum into proceedings when Rik and Bobby are on the go is futile, and for youse two gals for encouraging them , Mac give Ciara and Steph a yellow card. **BTW from original report in Golfers world, I changed carrying to humping , and you were all in like Flynn

love it! Last year I did the 3 Peaks and the Karrimor International Mountain Marathon(2 day endurance event).

My partner's training: run's every day, London Marathon etc.

Me: 2 rounds of golf (carrying) most weeks(once a week in the winter)

Both the same age, similar weight(the bastid has lost weight while I've put it on!) Who was the fittest?

not a lot in it... over the 3 peaks I was better but on the KIMM I struggled ... mainly due to a torn achilles tendon after 20mins on day 1!)

Golf... you can not beat it!
