Get ready guys. Is "EOS" pronounced like a word, "eos" , or said in letters, "ee-oh-ess"? I've heard it both ways.

Most of the time it is prononced like a word, but I have heard it said both ways. I pronounce it as a word myself.

There was a series of Canon camera commercials on TV about twelve years ago where some baseball players pronounced it as a word. I think the "green zone" feature that touted EOS cameras as being user-friendly was introduced then.
