This sounds like a massive temptation to plagiarize crying for help. With so little time you had best ask your teacher for help or specify on this board exactly what area you wish to explore and on what general level(high school?). Read as much of Poe(with a bit of his full range- short story, article, poem). www.eapoe.org has a lot of valuable info on his life and all his works. Luckily Poe preferred short, immediate works. Unluckily, he is a more profound and sophisticated writer(and sane!) than the comic book versions of his horror tales seems to suggest.
