I can't hardly believe there is somebody besides myself who holds dinner party readings of excerpts from this literary masterpiece! Truly an amazing coincidence! Tell me Paracelsus, are you of the same opinion as I that this particular passage should be reserved for dinner parties which offered fish or seafood w/white wine as the main course? My guests have always found it a bit too "earthy" after a meal of beef, pasta or fowl.
