I've often heard of the Non-League triangle which I presumed was the something like this: Conference

Rymans League------------Dr Martens

Or maybe the Conference triangle is a place where clubs go in but don't come out!

I think there are 3 leagues under the conference, a northern, central and southern league. The Northern one is the one that Gateshead are in, Is it the Northeren Alliance? The winner of each of these is promoted to the Conference and the three bottom placed clubs in the conference are relegated , one into each league(I think)

Rik - that couldn't work if you had e.g. 3 southern clubs relegated as the following season the lower league would have an increased fixture list and the other 2 less games.
