Realistic expectations for the current season

Whoever was team manager at the end of last season would have had to work within the following constraints this campaign:
  • No new money will be made available for transfers. Purchases must be funded by sales.
  • Your key striker will miss half the season with injury
  • Your secondary striker will miss three quarters of the season with injury.
  • Your key midfielder will miss half of the season with injury.
  • A key central defender will miss three quarters of the season with injury
Given these constraints and taking into account the squad inherited at the end of last season what do think would have been a realistic set of objectives for this season?

Nothing less than 100% commitment from every player when walking onto the pitch in a NUFC shirt. We won't win them all, but we can play like we want to.
