Dream of sex in space could come true soon??

ONDON - Plans are being drawn up for a hotel in space where couples can make love in weightless conditions.
The idea for the space hotel follows Dennis Tito's trip to the International Space Station, British online news service Ananova has reported.

Mr Gene Meyers, president of the Space Island Group, told the Mail on Sunday: 'There are millions of couples who want to try it and joint the 400-mile high club.
'All of a sudden the world can see that space tourism is just around the corner. Mr Tito has made it a reality.'
Shaped like a huge ring, the 500-guest, 1-billion hotel planned will offer padded 'romance rooms' containing no furniture for couples to fulfil their wildest dreams.
Mr Meyers added: 'At first, the plan was just to open a space hotel. But our research shows that the real reason couples want to spend a week in space is for fabulous sex.'

Well, it may be wonderful, but I think it'd take several days (for me, anyway) to acclimate to zero G. The first few days would be spent regurgitating my previous week's food, I'm afraid. Beyond that, it'd probably be a blast!

In an effort to maintain the high tone here, I shall supply the bibliographical information. If it has bibliography, we couldn't possibly have our minds in the gutter, could we Old Git?

Unavailable on the Web, but if you can find the old issue of CoEvolution Quarterly that has it, is "The Day They Tested the Rec Room," (short story) CoEvolution Quarterly (Summer 1981), pp. 116- 1234, by Paul Brians.

_Starseed_, an out-of-print novel by Spider and Jeanne Robinson, has some lyrical discussions of zero-g sex, as well as some stunning ideas about following the aboriginal songlines into space. Starseed
