More than twenty-four hours has rolled around since Spike and Peggy were named to the US WOC team for 2001... yet on the Forum we see nothing but stunned silence? Or is it apathy?

Are we as a club going to bury our collective heads in the sand in the wake of this spectacular coup?

Who would have believed two, three years ago that Spike was destined for Finland? Only the most hardcore Spike groupies, that's for sure. Oh, but the fairweather fans should be flocking to his side by now! Most too had written off Peggy, "retired" from international competition, destined for holy matrimony (or wedlock) it seemed at the time.

Now that one of OK's finest hours has rolled around at last, why the silence?
