Quoted f/ numbers for box brownies & modifications

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Brownie Cameras : One Thread

With the fronts off 4 of my six-twenty box brownies the exposure holes are all the same size even though some are meant to be f/11 and some are meant to be f/14 according to the literature. It looks like it would be easy to modify them though, either increase the f/ by sticking a smaller hole over the original (in a sheet of something) and/or increasing the shutter speed by sticking something over the slot in the shutter to decrease the amount of time it exposes.
