I have a copy of the book TALES OF MYSTERY AND IMAGINATION with short stories by Edgar Allen Poe Illustrated by Harry Clarke, copywrite dated 1933 by Tudor Publishing Company in New York, 412 Pages--8 colored pages glued in along with many black and white illustrations. Hard cover--black leather with gold writing. Does anyone know the value or have any information about this book or how I can find out?

Thanks Wendy Ludwig (cbkl15@cs.com)

That is a book that is well sought after by many collectors. The Harry Clarke Illustrated edition of Poe's Tales of Mystery and Imagination sells quite often for well over one hundred dollars, but the condition of the tome determines the price ultimately. I hope that this may be some variety of help to you, and I caution you upon selling it for something that is well under what the book is worth, as it is a book in demand for Poe collectors.

I am looking for information on the same book, but this one has no date, but does say that 2500 copies were printed for the U.S. Any comments? Thanks
