He has influenced my writing as well; mostly by showing me a touch of humor can go a long way in a story. His was probably one of the first touchs of English Humor I encountered in life and I read every single one of his Hitchhikers books.

His was a unique and a brilliant mind that could take even the most absurd and ridiculus concept, and make you accept it with a smile and a nod of the head. Whats more, he did something that many modern writers fail to do; he entertained the reader. It will be a long time before someone else can cause a room to burst into laughter just by muttering a number.

As I said before, a universe has died, and this time, there was no emcee to tell us. God speed, Mr. Adams. Your passing was untimely, but your works will be timeless.
