Naked Traveler Arrested in Singapore

SINGAPORE (AP) -- Matthew Ng was waiting for his flight when he saw men's clothing strewn on the floor of a lounge at busy Changi Airport. Moments later, he spotted the man who should have been wearing them.

''I came across a shirt. I did a double-take when, 10 paces later, there was a pair of pants and then underwear,'' the Straits Times newspaper quoted Ng as saying. Then, he said, he saw a man ambling nude through the lounge among passengers who appeared ''too shocked to react.''

The naked man was arrested for indecent exposure late Friday, police spokesman Stanley Norbert said Saturday. The 34-year-old, whose name was not released, was believed to have been on his way from Paris to Vietnam, the newspaper said.

''He has been sent for psychiatric evaluation,'' Norbert said.

This begs for a limerick but I don't know how to pronounce "Ng".

Most people say something like "Eng" or "Aing"

In the Philippines it is "nong"

In the Philippines it is "nong"

Let's think. What rhymes with "nong"?

In Singapore, this behavior is punishable by public cane-ing followed by a Don Rickles routine on TV that ridicules the adequacy of the perp's privates.
