OK. Which one of you sabotaged Lusenet? HUH? Was down,apparently.Now email notifications aren't going thru.Anyone know what was up?

I don't know any details about the current problems but down-time with the Greenspun servers happens every once in a while (sometimes for days).

I do have a back-up forum ready to go in case Lusenet goes down either temporarily or permanently.

It just goes down once in a while probably for maintence. I couldn't get in either this morning. It made me get some WORK done! I usually get on here about 5:30 when Steve leaves, so this morning I searched and searched for a professional host site for my web pages, and answered emails.

I am usually soooo tired come evening I just don't get on here at all, unless to check emails about pups or something. I eat supper sitting on the sofa, and there I stay. This morning I woke up on the sofa! Steve said, Here's your coffee. And I said, I can't have any coffee, I have to get up and go to bed. And he said, I don't think soooooo, it's 5:00, sit up and drink your coffee!

Earthmama and I had a short chat between 9:30 pm and 10:00 pm CDT last night and the chat system worked just fine.

I could try to be in there again tonight around the same time. It all depends on how hard I work today. We've got a TON of perennial and annual flower plants to get in - as well as some of the vegetables - so I imagine I'll be pooped tonight. Ruth can be a real slave driver... ;-)

Hi Sheepish,

Yep, the Yggdrasill web site chat on Bravenet. Unfortunately I won't be chatting tonight. We got a LOT planted today so consequently my butt is dragging. I'm definitely not complaining, though... this type of outdoor work on our homestead is extremely satisfying.

But maybe diane will be in the chat room tonight so you two can talk to with other.

Tomorrow we plant the raspberry and strawberry plants that my sister gave me. I've wanted my own raspberry patch for quite some time so you could say that I'm a little excited about finally getting them in. And the vegetables will start going in tomorrow, too, so I'm anticipating another busy day... :-)

I think the greenspun computers are having some emotional problems, or something. I'm moderator on a community forum, here in Orygun, and I was having a heck of a time trying to straighten out some posts which somehow ended up out of order, date wise. Things went from weird to weirder. At one time, I got a message saying that "the server is having major difficulties", or something like that. I assumed it was greenspun's server, and not mine, and now I am pretty sure that that is what it was.
