Which probably means he's agreed terms with ManUre.

Seems like Ananova have rehatched quotes which were attirbuted to Dyer when all the Manure talk first came out a couple of weeks ago.

To be fair to them this looks like a summary of April for Newcastle United and not a way out of date story being reprinted on it's own.

For the record I still think Dyer will be at Newcastle United in the summer but if we have another season like this one, next summer he'll be off. we will have to sell him in two years time anyway or get him to sign a new contract or he'll leave for nothing and we can't afford that.

OK how about a little competition.

We've all been saying that this opplayer and that player will be leaving , a lot of it is wishfull thinking.

But just who do you think really will be sold in the summer , extra points for guessing the fee and the destination.

Speed - Fulham - £4 million Solano - Parma - £5 million.

Marcelino - £2 million to recently promoted Spanish side.

Solano - £6 Million Parma

Lee - Free West Ham asist player manager

Gavilan - £1 million Portuguese club

Coppinger - Hartlepool £250k

Glass and Gallacher will go back to Scotland.

Biggest shock will be Given going to Man U for £5 million.

One player certain to be available to O'Leary next season is striker Michael Bridges who tonight makes his long-awaited return to action after seven months out with ankle ligament damage.

Bridges, who has not played since the fourth match of the first Champions League group phase, will play the final 25 minutes of the reserve game at York's Bootham Crescent, ironically against former club Sunderland.

"What a blow to have a diamond like him out for so long," said O'Leary, on last season's 21-goal top scorer.

"But he's right now and it's great to have him back, but we don't want to over extend him. This is just a little boost so he can say he was back before the end of the season.

"He will now go through the summer and be right for pre-season training and then be spot on for next season."
