I asked this self same question about three weeks ago but no one could come up with a 'real' answer.

It's the Rio Ferdinand link that is most confusing. He has won bugger all at either Wham or Leeds and hasn't (to my knowledge) appeared in any kind of cup final.

There can't be many things that Manure haven't done.
