Alta. Water Advisory Remains

The city of Grande Prairie, Alberta remains under a boil-water advisory. Although preliminary tests suggest a pump failure at the city's water treatment plant has not caused contamination, health officials are maintaining the advisory until a second batch of test results comes in, probably later today. The Wapiti River treatment plant had a pump malfunction for as much as ten hours yesterday, allowing some untreated water to enter the distribution system.
