Hello, My Great Great GrandFather was in this unit. Pvt. Jonathan Mooney, I can not seem to find any Info about this unit at all. What I do have is that they were in the Taylor County GA. wars.? His Military record shows that he was captured near Jonesboro GA. after going AWOL. A that he was in the u.s.army general hospital. that is were he died. Thou there is no record of his burial. Any info you can give me will be very greatful.
