At college we had a superb seminar from a couple of recruitment guys from Rowntrees. They played various roles in interview situations, highlighting good points, amusingly playing up bad points - BO, picking your nose, farting etc. They did one bit where they were discussing whether to recruit a girl or not. One guy was adamant they shouldn't cos "girls just get pregnant at the drop of a cap".

The most feminist of of the girls in our group, Karen, wasn't at the seminar but Tim (amusingly the slowest witted of us all) rushed back to tell her of the joke. Everything went well until he got to the punch line and said "Girls just get pregnant at the drop of a hat". We all collapsed in hysterical laughter while she scowled at our sexist attitudes.
