KOFE-Please post your last letter to your congressman about changing tax laws

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Unk's Wild Wild West : One Thread

Are you an "idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing" or are you actively involved in writing your representatives to introduce bills such as Ron Paul did? You rant and rave, and I think it only appropriate for us to ask you to show your cards.

Here is your opportunity. Post your e-mails or letters to your representatives. Trying to persuade the court of public opinion is much less effective than lobbying your represntatives. What have you actually done?

"Dere Congressmen Kennedy,

I've had enough, and am armed and live near you!!! Do it NOW!!! I voted Klinttooon out of office and you are next, if you dont have an "accident" first!!! Besides, taxes are illegal!!!!

Rememember me @ judgement day next week!!!

Hey, KoFE -- you lovable (but apparently young and ignorant) tax nut you.

Great letter! Just what you need to stir things up in Washington. Senators and Representatives just love that type of input. Keep your constuctive critizism coming Dude! With you on our side, well -- well, probably Congress will raise the minimum tax bracket to 150%, but, hey, I'm sure you're trying your best.

Actually, KoFE -- just yanking your chain (I know I shouldn't but after all the posts on the IRS7 thread, I couldn't resist)

But, yea, I know you had nothing to do with this post.
