BLOODY HELL!WHY?CASH? caps,argh

N-one knows and the club aren't saying anything. His wife didn't even know by all accounts

i bet his board weren“t going to give him the ferdinand money

He says it's by mutual consent on bbc-online. The last 8 weeeks weren't much fun apparently. Where does it leave Lampard Senior? Definite old-muckers routine that one.

It has to be the dream ticket of Stuart Pearce and Warren Barton doesn't it?
-- Anonymous, May 09, 2001
Sports.com also saying it's by mutual consent with this quote from Harry:
"The last eight weeks or so of the season haven't been particularly enjoyable and I feel that, maybe, it's time for a change."

if there was a time to call up dicanio, an established player?now is that time...
-- Anonymous, May 09, 2001
Apparently the breaking point was when the board asked him to consider accepting the Newcastle bid for Carrick

's brother Mrtin an established 39 year old defender playing for the consett working mens club

I almost believed you Swift..........until I read the last 4 words.

I wonder if Micheal Carricks brother will be able to follow his brother back to Newcastle? He was due to join the Hammers in the summer and planned to stay with his brother. BTW, don't you think £9 million is a bit too much to pay for a 20 year old midfielder?

Could this be our next manager? He is canny with money, has PL experience, has taken points off us regularly in 7 years.
and he is used to managing inconsistant performances.
-- Anonymous, May 09, 2001
If we could get him to come for a season , bringing Cole, Carrick and Lampard (jnr) . I'd say fine. But really, he's too ugly to manage the toon. He's more of a smog monster type.

.....top blerk also.
-- Anonymous, May 09, 2001
I think he'd be more likely recruited to bring Pearce and Winterburn

This is very un-WHAM like, Redknapp was only the eighth manager in the club's history. With his barrow-boy charm, and east-end bluff, Redknapp seemed West Ham personified. Unless he really did walk I guess their board figured they should have achieved more given the talent they have. Definitely one for the short-list post-Robson.

Sporting Life have the head of the LMA saying he spoke to Harry and thinks Harry may have been forced out. Also, speculation starting that he may take over at Soton since he's got a house in Bournemouth.
-- Anonymous, May 09, 2001
I heard him interviewed saying that he would only manage West Ham..no other club. So expect him at Newcastle soon. Actually, I think he's Keegan without the O levels.
-- Anonymous, May 09, 2001
I think he'd be a good successor to Bobby, especially if he could bring his kids(Carrick, Cole, etc) with him.
-- Anonymous, May 09, 2001
Bring his kids with him - wot Jamie? I'd like to see more of Louise at SJP.
