Just lulling (?) him into a false sense of security.

You can email your selections for the final 2 games if you don't want Clarky to copy them!
-- Anonymous, May 08, 2001
Thanks for the vote of confidence Geordie!

No offence meant Clarky... it could be awfully tempting to use the same selection as Screach to ensure victory.... OR... you may select the same as Screach and then change your selection so it does not appear that you are copying....either way..... just trying to be fair. I can see Screacher sitting up and posting at 23:59:45!
:-))
2 more games then I can retire...... I can't wait!

If anyone's concerned I'm prone to cheating then just use my last selection for the final two games, and be done with it!
-- Anonymous, May 08, 2001
Ignore the previous post - I'm over-reacting, as usual!

No - he said it. Use his last selection for the last two games. Anyway - as I remember, the winner was supposed to take over running this thing next season..........But hang on - Clarky's last selection was no worse than mine. Let it be a fair and open fight (while I bribe Geordie to "fix" my selections and/or MacBeth to delete them if I'm wrong). Or am I just over-reacting ;-)

Of course now that Given is out for therest of the season, I can see a benefit to Clarky choosing Saturday's team ;-)

How man, Clarky man.... there is NO cheating at all involved and I wasn't implying anything!!!!!. Can I go back and put a ;-) on my first post?I humbly apologise if I have offended you. I was only trying to be equitable. Whoever is in the lead on the last day has an advantage... it just happens to be you.
roll on next season.......

Geordie - as I said "ignore that post". What more can I do?I realise there was no offense intended, and none is taken. I over- reacted, so just forget it.

There's more to this than meets the eye. I think we should have a stewards enquiry, to be held in a convenient hostelry (or a hostile convenience).I don't agree with secret ballots - you never know who is open to bribery ;-)
Can I suggest a compromise? Mr Clark to post his team pick first and I will post mine afterwards. That way, I can choose to post the same team (and hence lose) or gamble with Karelse in goal and Carl Serrant on the right wing on the chance that I might pull something off (ahem). If we go into the last game with honours even, then if the teams posted are identical, the first to post wins. Eeh - this is seroous stuff ;-)

I think Screacher and Clarky should sit out the last 2 games. ;-)

EUFA have stepped in and have banned both Clarky and Screacher for two games with immediate effect for deliberately stamping (their feet) 80)
-- Anonymous, May 08, 2001
"you never know who is open to bribery"Well I am!!!! Come on lads, I'm thirsty!!!
