Bury me not........

greenspun.com : LUSENET : FRL friends : One Thread

There's been some ugly rumors of late that the FRL is dead. Well, this ole elefunt shoveller ain't giving up so easy. I been severly wounded in the Limerick Wars and survived; been roasted, toasted, and nearly drowned in jiggle juice with old Robbie, and survived.

I been abandoned at the circus, pounced by a big dumb orange cat, left in the night by DiEtEr, abducted by aliens, dropped in the desert with nothin' on but yellow drawers, roughed up by government agents, and generally used and abused, and I'm still here.

I've read and re-read, (and re-read) Robert Cooks' postings of wisdom, absorbed Trishs' 7-5-7 hiccup poetry, devoured Helen's and Sis's and Kritter's and everyone elses stories, spent some time at the hilltop, and still came out with most of my teeth and natural good looks.

So, fer cryin' out loud, I'm going to go down to the dock, and see if Katy the Corgi has any good ideas to post here tomorrow. And if you know what's good for you, you'll do likewise. Don't make me go fetch my evil twin out of the swamp now. You know what he's like when the moon is full.

(at least check in, so's we know you ain't sleepin' with the worms)

Don't look now, Sir Robert, but some miscreant has volunteered your services on another thread! (fishin', indeed!)

I never volunteered Robert's services... I merely "suggested" that he do so! :-)

Checking in on command
