There has been a recent exodus of many old timers to this, and a few companion forums. Doc and Patricia seem to have retired and there are others as well. With the advent of good weather upon us, the moles are venturing outside.

I've heard this term "shut yer yap" a few times on THIS forum and even a few variations on that theme telling posters to shut up [usually included as part of the anonymous handle.] What, exactly, is the point of a discussion forum if you desire folks to not engage? Why do you even visit them?

Despite an unkind statement I made to Kritter at one time, [which I can't take back and realize I SHOULD have shut my yap], I've enjoyed many discussions with her over a period of several years. I'd neither be pleased to see, nor encourage her to "shut her yap." I agree with Aunt Bee that Kritter has much to offer a discussion forum and if "frl friends" is going through a slump, it's more likely to be because folks are spread out across MANY fora these days and, yes... the weather has finally broken in many parts of the country and folks are spending more time outside and even running the kids to the Spring sport practices/games.
