Ginola - an answer to a lot of probs

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Unofficial Newcastle United Football Club BBS : One Thread

If we offer Ginola a player role plus in due course coaching youngsters & headhunter he'd be an asset. We could do with bringing in some of the top French young lads in (they were devastating againgst the England kids) & what a great mentor.

Not sure Dave leF. I think his playing days are almost over - however, he is a highly intelligent blerk who just might make a good coach. It's so difficult to tell - you really need to be able to see them in action to be able to tell how empathetic they are in attempting skills transfer.

In that respect your idea of a short- term contract where he did a bit of both playing and coaching isn't a bad one, but would he work efffectively with BR? Who knows.

I think Ginola and Bobby would work well together, Ginola just seems to crave respect, and lets face it thats not one of John Gregorys strong points is it?

The furthest North Ginola was going to go was Birmingham, he won't venture any further!

First Prize- most inane posting of 2000/2001 season.

I'm confused. Is this thread about Ginola? Or an experiment to see what results if monkeys are left alone in a room with a keyboard? ;-)

Serves me right for reacting. Now it looks like I'm insulting De Builder.

I understand the significance of this SMB posting. Ginola was very happy at Newcastle, His wife took time to settle but after a bunch of SMB's broke into his cottage and dubed the walls with maKem excrement. Ginola and his wife wanted to leave. He wouldn't return, which is a shame as we haven't had a left winger since he left.

Tony, some kid (i assume it was a child) had decided to post pages of SMB, SMB, SMB.....looks like our kindly administrator has decided to remove it.....but only after Stevo and Ciara made their comments :))

Don't worry Stevo I clocked it and duly ignored both the simplistic postings that have been removed!
