I've seen him play for Brescia a couple of times on football Italia and both times he was Man of the Match. He is playing better than ever. Pav for NUFC, Yes Please.

This rumour could tie in with the rumoured transfer of Harper to Coventry - see the "Sent to coventry" thread.

Personally, I wouldn't take Pav back - we don't need an error prone keeper as our No2. We need someone like Harper who will push Given very very hard for his place.

Afraid I missed it Tom, I was having a particularly challenging year in Electronic Arts' "Shogun: Total War" and couldn't tear myself away. The perfidious Oda clan sent a ninja to assasinate my heir whilst the Takeida launched an offensive whilst I was busy routing the Ronin on another front. A lot of careful balancing acts to pull off and troops to raise in double quick time. My no-dachi swordsmen regiments will trample the treacherous Oda into the dust and the Takeida will slink away like whipped dogs. Banzai!

I think I'll go and have a lie down in a darkened room with a wet flannel over my eyes...
