Hello everybody!

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Unofficial Newcastle United Football Club BBS : One Thread

Self imposed exile yesterday. I didn't feel like posting and it's probably just as well that I couldn't, I was on site.

I have yet to trawl around all the internet sites to see whic sorry excuse Robson had for the biggest pile of dirge I have seen in many a year.

Was the goal the only time when we strung two passes together.

Southampton were clueless and the fact that we didn't turn them over is pathetic and a sure sign that we'll be in a relegation struggle next year.

Wholesale changes need to be made but are likely to happen and will probably not help that much.

Quinn looked very first division and has serious flaws in his defending.

Acuna looked every piece the fat headless chicken he is. He doesn't offer anything to the side apart from running around, can't even tackle.

Barton, well do I need to say any more, your time is up No.2.

We all stood around waiting for the post-match interviews on Sky, arguing about who was the most glad that they'd made the effort to get up at 4.15 that morning to watch such a fine performance - and in such a critical match too. Anyway, I was praying that he wouldn't but sure enough, up pops Bobby and - for at least the 3rd time that I've heard this season - makes the outrageous excuse that he's powerless once the game starts to influence its outcome. Almost in the same breath he's complimenting Soton for making a tactical switch when it was apparent things weren't working for them. Media guff or managerial incompetence? You be the judge.

I'm glad I never actually watched that interview. I switched over the telly apologised to my girlfriend for making her sit through it all!

If Robson can't influence the game once the team is out there he can't do his job. He has to pick a team who he thinks can do the job.

If the same bunch of no hopers get selected for the next match they are effectively ignoring the supporters.

I don't think anyone at the club appreciates how saddened the fans are about this season.

Recognisable flaws in the Board, in the Management ,the players, the medical staff, the groundsmen...........................................................

You're overlooking our comprehensive weakness in depth if you think there's anybody at SJP who can do any better than the lot that were torturing us on Tuesday.

Some of these, if not all of these players are underperforming. We have seen fleeting glimpses this season of what they can do, yet they fail to deliver.

Complacency or have they just given up? Either way it breeds and other players at the club may not be as good as the current shower but they will have a better attitude.

Trouble is the reserves have more to play for this season!
