Does strike slip faults occur under water (like in the oceans)? And if it does, how can it be viewed?

Strike slip faults can occur underwater, in areas where the water is shallow, biologists are able to view the fault. Part of the San Andreas Fault is under water. Check out this web site to see some of the effects of an under water strike slip fault. http://www.aeic.alaska.edu/Input/lahr/taurho/eqeffects/eqtsun.mov
